How the Divine Speaks to Us Through Symbols

How the Divine Speaks to Us Through Symbols

The Divine speaks to us through symbols every day. A feather on your path, a number that keeps repeating, a spirit animal crossing your way. These are not coincidences. They are the language of the unseen, reminders that the Light is always near, guiding us, communicating in ways the Soul can understand. In a world often ruled by noise, symbols speak in stillness. They don’t reach us through logic, they enter through the Heart, allowing the Divine to connect with us directly.

And when it happens, it’s undeniable. It’s a private knowing, an inner Wisdom that speaks only to you. No one else can truly grasp the depth or the Miracle of what that moment means. It’s intimate.

When the Divine Speaks

I was sitting in my car, crying, thinking about my dad who had recently passed away. It was one of those days when the sound of absence is so loud, you can barely function. I was overwhelmed with emotion. Suddenly, through my open window, two incredibly cute little yellow birds appeared. They were dancing together in a graceful and playful swirl of joy while singing an enchanting melody that seemed to carry a message straight to my Heart. It felt like the whole moment had been orchestrated.

My dad was a singer, and in that moment, I felt his eternal Presence. Through the symbol of those birds, a message arrived, not just from him, but from something greater. “I am joyful. I am free. I am in grace”. It was a moment where my father’s essence and the Divine language became one. In that instant, I opened to a deep knowing: we are never separated, we are never alone.

That simple moment had a profound impact. It strengthened my faith, deepened my awareness of the Divine presence, and sharpened the Eye of my Consciousness. It reminded me that these little Miracles are happening all the time, quietly, lovingly, sometimes humorously, always supporting us, walking with us. And the more we pay attention, the more we expand our capacity to co-create with Life itself.

The language of the Ascended Masters

Great Ascended Masters like Jesus and Buddha would use parables, images or metaphors to precisely speak a universal language that could bypass the world of the ego-mind. Their intention was to communicate directly with our subconscious, allowing their messages to be deeply integrated within us.

They knew that humanity often perceives and interprets the world through the filters of the mind, shaped by fear and a wounded ego, rooted in the victim-persecutor-savior pattern. By addressing these filters through symbols, their teachings would be better and more deeply understood. By using symbols and stories, they bypassed these limiting filters, enabling their wisdom to resonate on a deeper, more transformative level.

Symbols are a powerful Shadow Work tool

Symbols are a bridge between the conscious and unconscious mind, acting as vehicles for deeper truths that may not be immediately accessible through logical thought.

C.G Young considered symbols as powerful forces, personal and collective experiences, or universal truths, which hold a transformative power and could facilitate personal and collective growth. He saw

them as a means for integrating the various aspects of the self and for connecting with deeper layers of the unconscious.

“We are not what we think we are, but what we think we are not, and it is the symbols that will lead us to this knowledge.”

The Invitation to See Differently

To hear the Divine in the daily Life, we must learn to see with more than just our eyes. Symbols speak in the quiet spaces between our thoughts, between the lines of what seems ordinary.

The more we awaken our symbolic mind, the more we begin to read the invisible patterns of our experience, to recognize the signs that guide us, support us, and speak directly to the soul.

In doing so, we expand our conversation with the Universe, transforming life into a sacred dialogue, one where even the smallest moment can become a Revelation.

Bringing Symbolic Wisdom into What We Create

We love working with symbols because they bring depth and connection to how we see and create. They help activate our symbolic mind, the abstract, visionary part of us that can grasp deeper truths and translate subtle energies into meaning that we can use for our daily Life. This is why our T-shirts, hats, necklaces, and suncatchers carry symbolic power. Each piece is an invitation to see beyond the surface and to master the sacred language of the Universe.
